What is MIG Welding?

MIG (Metal Inert Gas) Welding has been used since the 1940s, it’s the most common industrial welding process, it’s extremely versatile and it’s possible to complete welds in a relatively quick timeframe, allowing for short lead times to be achieved at a lower cost.

What is TIG Welding?

TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Welding much like MIG Welding has been used since the 1940s, though it has some differences. TIG Welding is conducted at a lower heat point and is more commonly used for thinner materials and where aesthetics play an important part.
